This is now the second year of the event and gives the european members of WeenieCampbell a chance to meet up and play some blues! The Port Townsend gathering caters for Weenies in the USA and so it seemed a nice idea to for those not in the states to have a social weekend where names can be put to faces!

Members of European Blues Association are invited to attend if they wish ~ it's a small world and most of us seem to know each other anyway!

The hotel provides a good function room so performances are no problem and doubtless other forms of blues orientated entertainment may creep in.

So please book early to keep the hotel happy ~ there's nothing like a happy hotel and they have held the same room rates for us, so let's aim to build on the success of 2007 !

Well, it can only really be described as the premier site on the internet for those with a serious interest in Country Blues and just like it says on the label, the site is dedicated to ~

"Preserving Country Blues through Education, Performance and Technology"

Historically speaking, the site is named after the legendary Blind Weenie Campbell who surely needs no introduction, other than the fact he was indeed a legend in his own lunchtime and he certainly did not win the talent contest...

There are now close on two thousand members (Weenies) and in addition to the busy forums the unique feature of the site is that it boasts the original and certainly the best country blues radio station on the internet.

Like any other radio station there are scheduled programs, opportunities for members requests and many specialst shows featuring some of the great artists of country blues.

Finally... if you are reading this, you like Country Blues and you are not a Weenie, well now is the time to join!
