This is much as 2007 but at least it offers a framework upon which to hang our guitars - naturally, I am open to any polite suggestions for additions or improvements but feel we have to start somewhere!

So, in an endeavour to get things started I have sketched in some events including one of my infamous (too hard they say!) blues trivia quizes. As before I also hope to talk a couple of Weenies into doing some form of workshop\talk for us - as I say, any of this can change (and I am sure it will) so don't be shy and please let me have some of your ideas as well.

My main concern is that everybody should have the opportunity to perform if they wish.

Now musically, to provide a bit of challenge and dependant upon numbers, I will get you to form either a duo or trio to rehearse and perform say two songs on Saturday evening - to add further interest (or masochist fun) I propose that lots be drawn to decide who plays with whom... metaphorically speaking, of course!

Obviously some of you will also wish to perform in a solo capacity as well, so I would propose that intitially those solo performances be limited to say three numbers so that there will be time for everybody should be able to perform if they wish. Now, once all those 'organised' performances are over it can turn into an open mic\jam session untill the dawn rises or the bar runs dry!

Remember, I don't know what time anybody is are arriving so I have just sketched in something for the Friday which will no doubt change - although the important bits are the meal and the after dinner musac!

So, here we go and please don't forget all - suggestions, idea's welcome..

Friday 11th April

4.00-ish pm onwards ~ Meet the Weenies!
Draw lots for "groups" on Saturday.
Finalise workshops
Sign up for Friday evening performance
Recover from journey ... do as you please!

7.00pm Group dinner
8.45pm Start performances
11.30pm Jam, sleep, drink, walk into the sea?

Saturday 12th April

10.30am Blues trivia quiz (Liquid Prize to winner)
11.30pm Rehearse, lie down, lunch, whatever plucks your string!
2.00pm Talk\Workshop
3.00pm Talk\Workshop
4.00pm Do as you please (but, do rehearse with your group!)
7.00pm Dinner - eat as a group or al fresco?
9.00pm Group and solo performances
11.30pm Jam, sleep, drink, walk into the sea?

Sunday 13th

Resume life... if possible..... take headache pills...
10.30am Workshop\Cliff walk\build SandCastles or you name it !! Depends on who is still here...
12.00pm Lunch followed by a "Do as you please" ~ maybe more music or a chance to see the Island - if you plan to be about in the evening no doubt something can be arranged to keep you occupied!
